Accessibility is part of the hospitality we try to show in person, and we want it reflected online too. We review 314exchange.com against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard most widely used to measure whether a website works well for people with disabilities.

We treat this as ongoing work, not a one-time checkbox. As we add pages and photos, we keep checking them against the same standard.

Steps We Have Taken

• Chosen text and button colors that meet the AA contrast standard, so words stay readable for people with low vision.
• Added a visible outline on links and buttons when you move through the site with a keyboard, so it is always clear where you are.
• Written descriptive alternative text for photographs so screen readers can describe them.
• Used clear headings, lists, and link text so the page structure makes sense when read aloud.
• Built the site to reflow and stay usable on phones, tablets, and when text is enlarged.

Known Limitations

A few areas are still in progress. Some pages are delivered through third-party tools (for example our website builder, embedded forms, and PDF documents) that we do not fully control, and those can fall short of the standard. If you run into a barrier in one of these areas, please tell us. We will help you directly and use what you share to make the site better.
