Deep Clean Checklist

Work top to bottom by area. Check off as you go, note anything that needs follow-up, and document anything loose, broken, or buggy with a photo.

Devices, Filters & Utilities

• Change air filter
• Charge noise monitors
• Charge Ring doorbell
• Clean filter for Dyson — needs 24 hrs to dry (or swap in second filter)
• Clean laundry lint trap
• Tidy shelves in laundry room area
• Confirm all light bulbs work in the house
• Vacuum utility closet
• Run diffuser

Kitchen

• Tidy kitchen cabinets and drawers
• Wipe down face of kitchen cabinets so no grime
• Wash and clean backsplash behind stove Somber
• Wipe down the top of the fridge
• Clean coffee pod / sugar holders — confirm we have sugar
• Descale coffee maker (half vinegar / half water in reservoir, run through a couple of times)
• Check condition of pots, pans, and other things the guest uses in the kitchen — take photos

Bathroom

• Scour the bathroom tub
• Wash shower curtain
• Shower curtains deep clean (soak with a bleach tablet in sink, run through washer, or replace)
• Clean flooring between sink and tub Somber

Living & Bedrooms

• Tighten dining table
• Clean bench seat and inside in dining room Terrier
• Vacuum couches
• Vacuum behind couch
• Dust on top of all TVs
• Confirm all TVs work and are connected — should say welcome and ask checkout date
• Tidy toy bin in kids' room
• Tidy games in front closet

Floors, Dusting & Windows Whole House

• Lift rug around corners to vacuum and mop
• Dust around door frames
• Dust baseboards (use a duster, or the mop)
• Dust light fixtures and ceiling fans
• Wipe down window sills
• Wipe down any windows inside or outside that need it
• Wipe down all light switches with a disinfectant wipe

Entry & Outside

• Wipe cobwebs off back door
• Wipe cobwebs off entryway
• Spray bug spray inside (only on exterior walls)
• Clean the grill
• Confirm we have grill brushes and they're in a good spot visible to guests
• Tidy outside area

Supplies & Restock

• Buy and deliver 2 packs of water bottles
• Take out trash in owner's closet
• Confirm all supplies are stocked — refill anything that's running low

Inspect & Document

• Document anything loose or broken (wobbly door knobs, broken lamp shade, unusable extension cord)
• Document any bugs with photos and location
• Document any broken string lights
