What a Full Wedding Day at 314 Exchange Actually Looks Like
One of the most common things couples tell us after their tour is that they finally feel like they can see it. The ceremony, the dinner, the dancing. It all starts to feel real once you understand how the day actually flows.
If you're in the early stages of planning and trying to picture what a wedding at 314 Exchange looks like from start to finish, this post is for you. Every couple makes the day their own, but here's a realistic hour-by-hour look at how a beautiful, unhurried celebration tends to unfold here.
A Morning That Starts Without the Rush
Your rental begins at 9am, which means the day starts on your terms, not at a rushed midday sprint. For most couples, the morning is spent in the loft. It's a private, comfortable space designed for slow mornings: the kind where you're surrounded by your favorite people, coffee is nearby, and the getting-ready process actually feels enjoyable. Hair, makeup, laughter, a few quiet moments before the ceremony, the loft holds all of it.
Having your getting-ready space on-site is something couples appreciate more than they expect. There's no scrambling across town, no coordinating a fleet of cars between locations. When you're ready, you're already here.
9:00am — Arrive, settle in, and start getting ready in the loft
9:30am — Hair and makeup well underway
11:30am —Bridal party photos beginning
1:00pm — Lunch break (your caterer or a food truck can set up in our equipped kitchen area)
2:00pm — Final touches, dress on, first look if you've planned one
3:00pm — Guests begin arriving; outdoor ceremony space is set and ready
The Ceremony
With a 4:00pm ceremony start, the light is golden and your guests are settled. Most couples choose to say their vows under the covered outdoor barn structure — it offers that open-air feel with the beautiful greenery backdrop our space is known for, while still giving guests a sense of shelter and shade.
If you're envisioning a fully indoor ceremony, that works beautifully here too. Some couples seat guests at their reception tables from the start, hold the ceremony there, then transition to cocktail hour while the room resets slightly for dinner service. It's a seamless setup and feels genuinely intimate.
4:00pm — Ceremony begins
4:30pm — Ceremony concludes; guests move to cocktail hour space
4:30–5:30pm — Cocktail hour: drinks, light bites, guests mingling while you take portraits

The Reception
After cocktail hour, guests move into the main indoor hall for dinner and dancing. With 3,500 square feet of interior space and a capacity of up to 120 guests, the room feels full of energy without ever feeling crowded. Exposed brick walls, modern lighting, and the details you've brought in make it entirely yours.
5:30pm — Grand entrance and first dance
5:45pm — Welcome toast; dinner service begins
7:00pm — Toasts, cake cutting, open dancing begins
8:00pm — Dancing in full swing; the floor stays packed
10:30pm — Final songs; the evening winds toward a close
11:00pm — One of our favorite traditions: couples sign our wall before heading out
Midnight — End of rental
That's fifteen hours from the moment you arrive to the final send-off. There's room in that schedule to breathe, to linger over dinner, to have a real first dance, not a rushed one.
Ready to picture your day here?
If walking through this schedule made your day feel a little more real, we'd love to show you the space in person. A tour gives you a chance to stand in the ceremony space, see the loft, and ask every question on your list.
